Lead Field Service Technician

As a Lead Field Service Technician where you will be responsible for testing maintaining and repairing a wide array of electrical equipment including low and medium voltage circuit breakers transformers switchgear motor controls and more. • Performing testing on low and medium voltage breakers including Megger Ductor HiPot HiCurrent and Timing tests.
• Completing mechanical work and repairs on breakers including tear down refurbishment and parts replacement.
• Utilizing and accurately reading meters.
• Reading schematics and wiring drawings.
• Troubleshooting circuit controls.
• Reading and plotting timecurrent curves.
• Reading and understanding of electrical oneline drawings and symbols.
• Testing power and current transformers including Power Factor and TTR.
• Accurately and consistently documenting using Power DB.
• Able to work with electrical testing equipment and tools.

• 57 years related experience in power plants industrial services primary power distribution and related protection and control schemes.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial or commercial power systems experience.
• Licensures and Certifications: NETA 2 3 or 4 preferred
• Education: High School Diploma.
• Reference and complete assignments as described in applicable specifications.
• Perform regular field work both indoors and outdoors.
• Strong interpersonal skills communication skills business acumen job management ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerDB Word Excel and Outlook).
• Valid Drivers license and good driving record.

The expected compensation range for this position is based upon several factors including but not limited to education qualifications prior relevant work experience and work location.

Compensation: $44.00 $85.00/per hour.
