Job Description

Your Role:
You work in a laboratory supporting mainly pharmaceutical research (in Healthcare) by cell culture and molecular services and related (bio) analytical techniques. This includes generating of genetically modified organisms e.g. with CRISPR techniques (under S1 and S2 conditions with lentiviral vectors) including related bioanalytical quality control e.g. via NGS (Next generation sequencing) for research purposes. Additional topics and techniques that should be covered in the lab are 3D bioprinting and various bioanalytical techniques such as multiplex assays (e.g. Luminex and Mesoscale technology) Elisa realtime PCR.
You work closely with internal partners and multidisciplinary project teams from sectors to support them with regards to their project needs and to support the lab asdriver for new technologies. For this purpose you have a good overview on new technological trends and a good network within the academic society.
Who you are:
- PhD in Biology Biochemistry Biotechnology Pharmacy or related areas
- Profound job experience of minimum 3 years within a laboratory environment
- First understanding of pharmaceutical research with a focus on molecular biology (e.g. cellbanking geneediting bioprinting) and cell biology
- Qualification according to Infektionsschutzgesetz 44 and 47 and experience with lentiviral vectors and delivery systems is a plus
- Experience in working an S1 and S2 lab
- Collaborative passionate and enthusiastic personality with ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment strong network within academia
- Fluent spoken and written German and English
