The expected hiring range for this position is:
$66700.00$95700.00.Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such the scope and responsibilities of the position qualifications of the selected candidate business considerations internal equity and external market pay for comparable jobs.
About the Role:
Fermilab is Americas outstanding laboratory for particle physics and accelerator research funded by the U.S. Department of Energy. We support discovery science experiments in Illinois and at locations around the world. Fermilabs Neutrino Division has a strong and exciting research program with major commitments to a diverse range of current and future neutrino experiments including DUNE NOvA MicroBooNE SBN (SBND and ICARUS detectors).

Neutrino Division seeks highly qualified and motivated candidates for Postdoctoral Research Associate positions to conduct their primary research in Neutrino Physics with liquid argon Time Projection Chambers (LArTPCs) including simulation data reconstruction and analysis detector construction and operation and R&D with teststand and testbeam experiments. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to participate and play an important role in the longbaseline neutrino experiment DUNE as well as the Short Baseline Neutrino Program and LAr TPC R&D. Every effort will be made to guide Fermilab Research Associates in designing their research programs and maintaining support so that they have the opportunity to produce physics results and pursue their interests.
The position is for a period of up to three 3 years with the potential for extension considered on a yearly basis thereafter.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
- Ph.D. in particle physics nuclear physics or relevant subject by the time of the appointment.
- Strong record of recent accomplishments in experimental physics.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Creative and independent problemsolving skills.
- Willingness to work collaboratively on a large and international team.
- Abide by all environment safety and health regulations.

Work Arrangement:
