Job Description
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
The Principal Engineer is part of the hierarchical organization reporting directly to Team Manager as direct discipline superior.Principal Engineer is having strong ability in technical matters with profound knowledge of applicable Engineering principles and processes with an emphasis on safe compliant reliable efficient and practical solutions required for the engineering design and of proposals and projects. Principal engineer acts as the discipline lead engineer for various projects.
DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE
Leads & coordinates C&S Engineering for Projects. Has wide discipline knowledge; good coordination skill with all the other Engineering disciplines engineering subcontractors vendors and construction teams.
Preparation of TRS for soil and topographical studies
Manage Coordinate Validate soil studies / topographical surveys
Analysis & Design Pile Foundation Analysis & Design Soil Supported Foundation
Analysis & Design of Dynamic Foundations (Compressors Motors Fans etc)
Preparation of Bar Bending Schedule
Analysis & Design of structure in line with specifications project requirements.
Modular Steel Structure design including Lifting & Transportation analysis
Structural steel connection design
Shop Drawing Control Supervision & Checking
Estimation of Construction quantities and Manage quantities during the project
Participate in the subcontracting activities (ITB preparation clarifications with the bidders... and provide support to the site activities during erection.
Material of Construction Specifications Test Requirement
Support to material procurement
RFI management from Subcontractor Shop Drawing Detailer Construction Site
Optimize the structure design
Experience with various codes and standards (Indian American & European) Experience in using STAAD Pro Software
Anticipation and Identification of risks and opportunities and recommend mitigations during Effective Communication skills with proactive coordination to manage interdiscipline workflow.
Ability to identify cost optimization opportunities during project .
Tool proficiency STAAD Pro AutoCAD MS Office Smart Plant Review / Navisworks

Knowledge and work experience specific to the job:
Education: MTech /ME BTech / BE Discipline: Civil and Structural Work Experience: Experience in EPC or Detail design engineering company in the engineering discipline for of projects in various sectors like Oil & Gas Energy Refining Petrochemicals.
Experience range : 15 years and above
