The Radiology Tech Specialist in conjunction with other team members provides direct specialized care to patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This position operates and maintains specialized cardiac catheterization equipment for use in diagnosing and treating heart disease in the Cath Lab. This position assists vascular surgeons and cardiologists in procedures by scrubbing monitoring and circulation duties. Successful performance contributes to a holistic approach to the delivery of services improved patient care and a high level of satisfaction from patients and families.

The position requires oncall. Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of callin when on a call shift.
Must own a telecom device capable of receiving callin page.
Education: Graduate of an approved Radiology Technologist Program
Certifications/License: Current Iowa License to Practice
ACLS (within 6 months of hire)
Experience: New Grads to Experienced Radiology Technologists
