A highachieving Outstanding Boys school in Brent requires a dedicated and knowledgeable Physics Teacher to join their Science department from September on a permanent fulltime basis. The successful Physics Teacher will have a passion for Physics and the ability to inspire and challenge boys across Key Stages 3 and 4 within our Outstanding Boys school. We are looking for a committed Physics Teacher to contribute to the schools academic excellence.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Physics Teacher lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Develop students understanding of key physics concepts and their application.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations in Physics (as part of Separate Sciences or Combined Science).
- Assess and monitor student progress providing clear and effective feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the Physics curriculum and resources within the Science department.
- Encourage student interest in Physics through practical demonstrations and activities within our Outstanding Boys school.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Physics.
- Proven experience in teaching Physics at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physics.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills with the ability to engage boys.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Physics within our Outstanding Boys setting.
