Position will be 4 days remote with 1 day (Mondays) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position.
Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of 2 Software Engineer 3 hereafter referred to as Candidate(s) who meets the general qualifications of Software Engineer 3 Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
Develops software solutions by studying information needs conferring with users and studying systems flow data usage and work processes. Investigates problem areas. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications standards and programming.
This Software Engineer 3 contractor position is part of the Administrative Applications SharePoint team and will be working to develop enhancements and provide support for the Robotic Process Automation application. This position will perform Software Engineer/Application Developer duties that will involve the following Power Platform areas: Power Apps Canvas and Modeldriven apps Dataverse Power Automate Flows for business process automation and Power BI reports.
II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity. Years Required/ Preferred Experience 8 Required Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments 8 Required Experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer 8 Required Handson experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate technical solutions 8 Required Microsoft Power Platform development experience 8 Required Experience with Agile development processes and sprint planning 8 Required Experience in design and development of Canvas and Modeldriven Power Apps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse SharePoint or other databases as the backend data storage model 8 Required Experience in design and development of Power BI reports 8 Required Experience developing Power Automate Flows Desktop Flows business process flows 8 Required Experience in Dataverse tables and uses 3 Preferred Good teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with other functional and technical staff on the project 3 Preferred Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on crossfunctional teams 3 Preferred Communication analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization 1 Preferred Experience in Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center
