A webinar moderator has to be really presentable with excellent communication skills who further ensures a smooth engaging and informative experience for attendees by facilitating Q&A managing chat and supporting speakers while also ensuring the webinar runs on time.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Facilitating Interaction:
- Welcoming attendees and introducing speakers.
- Monitoring and responding to questions in the chat or Q&A section or directing them to speakers.
- Encouraging audience participation through polls questions or discussions (whenever required).
- Ensuring the webinar platform is running smoothly.
- Addressing any technical issues that may arise.
- Managing audio and video settings when necessary.
- Keeping the webinar on schedule and ensuring all planned content is covered.
- Managing the time allocated for Q&A and other interactive elements.
- Having a good understanding of the webinar topic to answer questions effectively. (Thorough training of the product would be provided for the same).
- Being able to summarize key points and facilitate discussions.
- Creating a welcoming and interactive environment for attendees.
- Keeping the audience engaged throughout the webinar.
- Following up with attendees after the webinar with resources or further information.
- Assessing the webinars effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement.
