Job Description

A webinar moderator has to be really presentable with excellent communication skills who further ensures a smooth engaging and informative experience for attendees by facilitating Q&A managing chat and supporting speakers while also ensuring the webinar runs on time.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating Interaction:
    • Welcoming attendees and introducing speakers.
    • Monitoring and responding to questions in the chat or Q&A section or directing them to speakers.
    • Encouraging audience participation through polls questions or discussions (whenever required).
  • Technical Support:
    • Ensuring the webinar platform is running smoothly.
    • Addressing any technical issues that may arise.
    • Managing audio and video settings when necessary.
  • Time Management:
    • Keeping the webinar on schedule and ensuring all planned content is covered.
    • Managing the time allocated for Q&A and other interactive elements.
  • Content Knowledge:
    • Having a good understanding of the webinar topic to answer questions effectively. (Thorough training of the product would be provided for the same).
    • Being able to summarize key points and facilitate discussions.
  • Engagement:
    • Creating a welcoming and interactive environment for attendees.
    • Keeping the audience engaged throughout the webinar.
  • PostWebinar:
    • Following up with attendees after the webinar with resources or further information.
    • Assessing the webinars effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement.
