Job Description

About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Claims Analyst to manage a portfolio of property claims including Excess of Loss Proportional Treaty and Facultative business. In this role you will ensure claims are handled proactively and efficiently while adhering to regulatory and legal requirements.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Assess policy coverage and liability for incoming claims.
  • Manage and settle claims related to policies underwritten by PartnerRe ensuring accurate reserve calculations and monitoring crossmarket exposures.
  • Process direct claims advices treaty statements and cash calls efficiently within internal KPIs and market expectations.
  • Provide highquality commentary on significant notifications claims trends and key developments.
  • Conduct claims audits and reviews of service providers and third parties as required.
  • Collaborate closely with Underwriting Actuarial and Finance teams to maintain seamless operations.
  • Maintain and update internal claims databases ensuring data accuracy.
  • Adhere to company policies compliance requirements and PartnerRes claims philosophy.
  • Identify and contribute to process improvements within claims management systems.
  • Support compliance reporting and related activities.

Qualifications :

About you:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in direct and facultative claims handling within the London Market.
  • Strong expertise in Casualty and Property claims is essential.
  • ACII qualification is preferred but not required.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex claims matters clearly.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
