We do this by integrating market commercial and customer insights with our 80/20 value creation framework which eliminates complexity so that management teams have time to focus on profitable market share growth.
Our specific offerings include market assessments commercial and customer due diligence voice of the customer target identification competitive intelligence 80/20 value creation and custom market research.
Who are you
You have at least five years of progressive work experience at a reputable market research or management consulting firm. Most of your experience is working on engagements for private equity firms or B2B clients.
You can prepare clientready deliverables and complete a complex engagement on your own with no oversight. At the same time you are not just an individual contributor. You enjoy collaborating with others on the team and look forward to the opportunity to train and develop Associates.
You have the business savvy to translate a client s business questions into addressable objectives that can be answered using market research tools.
You are a master of methodology and know how to develop a rigorous approach for addressing objectives such as market sizing market fit and attractiveness price optimization M&A target identification competitive intelligence etc.
You are a storyteller. You don t just report data you connect data points to uncover insights and you relay those insights to clients with a clear concise and compelling narrative.
You are a PowerPoint artist. You ll follow our brand guidelines but still get creative in how you visualize our insights and recommendations.
You are an innately curious person and find yourself researching random things for no reason other than to expand your understanding of how the world works.
You have a meticulous attention to detail.
You see patterns when other people see chaos. You are very processoriented.
You sign your work with pride. You are your own worst critic and you hold yourself to the highest of standards. Nothing goes to a client until you think it s perfect.
You find an industryleading variable compensation package to be highly motivating.

You can travel up to 10 of the time. In the meantime you have the discipline to be just as productive working from home as you are in the office.
You have a BBA and you either have an MBA or can see yourself getting one in the future. Either way you know what TAM SAM and SOM stand for without having to Google them.
What will you do
Project 80 of your time)
You will be the primary point of contact for market research engagements and will be accountable for delivering clientready deliverables that meet Strategex standards. Specific tasks include:
> Collaborate with the business development team to ensure our proposals make commitments that can be honored (addressable objectives feasible methodologies reasonable deliverables and timelines etc..
> Facilitate engagement kickoff calls with the business development team and the client.
> Prepare required planning materials (discussion guides questionnaires secondary research briefs screening criteria etc..
> Oversee the data collection process (indepth interviews industry expert conversations online surveys secondary research market sizing modeling etc..
> Craft reports and other client deliverables that meet Strategex quality standards and brand guidelines.
> Present deliverables to the client with confidence and with the ability to respond to questions in the moment.
> Engage with clients postproject to ensure deliverables are adding value.
> Ensure engagements stay on schedule and budget.
You will also be responsible for helping to drive operational improvements. Using your experience knowledge and relationships you ll help create processes and standard operating procedures to ensure engagements are completed as efficiently as possible.
Business development 20 of your time)
While not accountable for business development as an Engagement Manager the next step in your career advancement at Strategex will require you to generate new business.
To help you gain momentum in building your book of business up to 20 of your time may be allocated to business development which will include nurturing existing client relationships and crossselling our services converting new business leads that come through marketing initiatives and leveraging your network to generate new business referrals.

How will you be paid
The base salary range for the Engagement Manager role is $100K to $125K but there is no limit on how much variable consulting income you can earn which over time may significantly exceed your base salary. We will be happy to discuss more on the variable compensation during the interview process.
