About the team
Stripes Professional Services team works with our most strategic users; the strategy and transformation team within the professional services organization serves as a transformation partner to our most strategic frontier users to help them achieve complex business goals requiring greater certainty of their business outcomes should they choose to invest with Stripe.
What youll do
As a Strategy & Transformation Advisor you will engage with some of Stripes most highprofile and valuable customers. Your role and consultative selling approach will establish the value of Stripe and increase the level of confidence in our solution across industries like insurance banking (merchant services) retail & automotive to name a few. In addition you will help build and deliver the art of the possible with Stripe for users specific industries. With your consultative approach you will empower and guide our largest users to discover prioritize and plan their transformation on Stripe. Additionally you will play a key role in securing large Professional Services engagements with strategic clients. This includes leading critical strategic discussions and developing comprehensive plans and blueprints to transform the payments and financial infrastructure of leading enterprises.
Responsibilities
- Work with our GoToMarket teams to identify the most strategic opportunities for strategy and transformation based on given qualification criteria.
- Advise customers senior leadership (csuite or below) on how to navigate and absorb change with Stripe across finance operations risk & other business divisions in relation to Stripes integration.
- Building art of the possible proposals capability pitches solution blueprints and business cases for digital transformation with Stripe.
- Lead presales workshops with customers (strategy/vision/discovery/assessment workshops)
- Own portfolio of Professional Services deals build and negotiate contracts/Statements of Work
- Autonomously lead complex multiparty Stripe adoption projects in a highly consultative and proactive manner.
- Engage with Product and Engineering teams to help drive product strategy for large users.
- Collaborate with your teammates on strategic projects that improve and scale our implementation process and team operating model.
- Strong leadership and cross collaboration skills with the ability to make informed decisions test assumptions and iterate to improve overall Stripe user journey
Who you are

Minimum requirements
- 7 years in technology & management consulting with a history of excellence in handling strategic customers and technology solutions.
- 5 years in solution selling in relation to presales of SaaS products.
- Proven experience in presales/sales of sizable service engagements and in contract/SOW development.
- Passion for innovation and crafting toptier reusable professional services offerings and enablement of Sales teams to GTM with these offerings.
- Thrives on the urgency and importance of working with our largest customers and are able to achieve set objectives while balancing competing priorities
- Ability to understand complex business requirements and craft tailored solutions
- Strong communication and analytical skills with a knack for pinpointing and improving inefficient processes.
- Demonstrated ability to cut through ambiguity to produce strategic insights and opportunities
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of the sales cycles of a SaaS product or a technology platform for strategic enterprise customers
- A proven track record of driving crossfunctional alignment across a broad set of stakeholders including business finance engineering sales support product marketing data science and senior leadership to achieve growth targets.
- Experience in building and scaling a GTMled growth discipline including the development of the strategy processes and operating model. Experience in creating a strong growth culture within a team.
- Background in a growthstage Internet/software company and/or the payments industry.
- Familiarity with APIs and their role in digital solutions.
