Job Summary
The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the companys IT infrastructure ensuring optimal performance security and availability of systems and networks. This role involves troubleshooting configuring and upgrading hardware and software as well as providing technical support to endusers. This position would also provide ITrelated support for our clients as required for the successful operation of our products.

Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance: Monitor maintain and upgrade IT systems including servers networks workstations and applications.
- Security Management: Implement and manage security measures to protect data and systems from cyber threats.
- Technical Support: Provide outstanding technical support and assistance to endusers for hardware software and network issues.
- Troubleshooting: Perform advanced root cause analysis for software errors and service outages.
- Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Network Management: Configure and manage network devices such as routers switches and firewalls.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of IT systems configurations and procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure IT systems comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Project Management: Participate in IT projects including system upgrades migrations and new implementations.
- Training: Develop expertise share knowledge with coworkers on the latest technologies and provide enduser training as needed.
- Travel: Some travel may be required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Network Security or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Minimum 35 years of experience in IT systems administration or a similar role.
- Experience with the following technologies:
- Windows server and desktop operating systems
- Networking gear including firewalls routers and switches
- Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID
- Microsoft Azure or other cloud computing platforms
- Microsoft SQL Server or other cloud computing platforms
- Microsoft IIS or other web servers
- Microsoft HyperV or other virtualization platforms
- Linux
- Skills:
- Robust understanding of fundamental IT protocols including TCP/IP DNS HTTP. SMTP ect
- Proficiency in the installation and setup of various types of networking gear server hardware and desktop and laptop computers.
- Fervent desire to keep current with the latest stateoftheart technology in the areas of communications networking hardware and software.
- Excellent problemsolving and oral/written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
