As aCaf Attendant at UnitingSA youll help create awelcoming atmosphere for residents families and visitors atWestminster Village Aged Care Facility in Grange. You will beresponsible for running the caf managing food and beveragesales handling cash and maintaining a clean and invitingenvironment.
Role Details:
- Fixed shift every Friday in weeks one and two at the Westminster Caf.
- Covering annual leave Monday to Thursday on a rotating basis.
- Potential for a dual contract covering the Catering Assistant position.

A Day in the Life of a CafAttendant
- Customer Service: Youll provide excellent service ensuring every visitor feels welcomed and valued.
- Food & Beverage Handling: Youll serve food and drinks ensuring theyre beautifully presented and safe.
- Cash Handling: Youll manage the till and process transactions accurately.
- Clean & Organised Environment: Youll maintain a clean welcoming and organised caf environment.
- Food Preparation & Stocking: Youll assist with food prep restocking shelves and maintaining food safety standards.
- Teamwork: Youll collaborate with the Senior Manager and team to ensure smooth operations.
- Promote UnitingSA Values: Youll represent UnitingSA and our values to everyone you encounter.
Its All About You! We are looking foryou if:
- Qualifications & Experience: You have a Certificate qualification in Basic Cookery Level 1 (preferred) or equivalent experience. Prior experience in customer service and food preparation is also desirable.
- Skills & Attitude: You are enthusiastic approachable and enjoy creating a friendly atmosphere. You can work independently and efficiently while maintaining high standards.
- Food Safety: You understand and apply food safety and hygiene standards consistently.
- Team Player: You enjoy working as part of a team and contributing to a positive environment.
