Job Description
The Role
Ventia are seeking an experienced Plumber to maintain the operation and management of assets at the Port of Brisbane on an intital 6 month fixed term contract.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Installation maintenance and repair of water sewage and fire metering
- Diagnosis of faults and problems in civil and industrial assets
- Repair and install systems in accordance with quality procedures work instructions and safe practices
- Carry out auditing & condition assessments of defence assets
- Ensure all safety and quality documentation is accurately recorded
- Preventative maintenance and other related plumbing tasks
Requirements
- Fully qualified Licenced Plumber/Gas Fitter (QLD) Required
- Facility Maintenance experience desirable
- Extensive faultfinding knowledge
- Experienced in applicable standards codes and regulations
- Good communication skills and the ability to use IT effectively
- Excavator license is highly desirable
- Must hold full valid Driving Licence
- You will undertake a national police check and reference check.
