  • Join Westpacs Global Transaction Services Client Engagement Team
  • Sydney based position
  • This role is a Parental Leave Cover Role for a 16month period

How will I help

You will join the Global Transaction Services (GTS) Client Engagement Implementation Team responsible for executing client implementations for transaction banking products for new and existing high value Institutional customers. The Client Engagement business unit focuses on delivering Sales Implementation and Service for our key Institutional clients.

The Implementation Manager role is a clientfacing role responsible for the of payable and receivable solution implementations for transactional banking products. As an Implementation Manager you are responsible for the coordination and facilitation of all stakeholders in the project to ensure solutions are implemented effectively and efficiently.

You will also:

  • Help establish an internal project team and use project management disciplines to drive the implementation of projects for WIB transactional banking clients
  • Work closely with operational internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely processing of requests
  • Manage client and internal stakeholder relationships and expectations
  • Advise clients and senior leaders on transactional banking products projects and implementations and become the subject matter expert within this field
  • Partnering with a Qvalent Business Analyst to ensure seamless customer experience in capturing technical requirements and of digital solutions

What do I need

You will utilise existing transactional banking knowledge project management skills to deliver solutions and product implementations. You will have Transactional Banking experience in payments and receivables and the associated systems. You will work in an agile manner but also use other project management methodologies to underpin your project delivery.

You will have the ability to understand client business and technical needs and lead programs of work across complex product and client implementations. You will also have welldeveloped time management skills with the ability to identify competing priorities to achieve successful solutions for our clients.

Additional preferred skills:

  • Any project management certifications are highly regarded.
  • Ability to build customer rapport quickly.
  • The ability to work autonomously and team player.
  • Experience or passion for corporate and institutional client centric activities risk and compliance activities and origination support.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service focus in all interactions with your customers.
  • Demonstrate strong time management organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • General knowledge of institutional customers their needs and core products as well as the associated procedures and processes to support them.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance Commerce IT or similar.
