Job Description
We are seeking experienced Rope Access Level I/II Technicians to join our Mechanical Crew in the offshore/onshore oil and gas industry. This position involves performing a wide range of mechanical tasks including rigging fitting and insulation removal and reinstallation while adhering to strict safety standards. The successful candidates will utilize rope access techniques to carry out tasks safely at heights and in challenging offshore environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Rope Access Operations:
Use IRATA Level I or II rope access techniques to reach and work in difficulttoaccess locations in offshore/onshore environments.
Perform mechanical tasks including rigging fitting and insulation work while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
Work safely at heights in confined spaces and in hazardous environments using proper safety equipment and procedures.
Mechanical Work & Fitting:
Assist with the installation maintenance and repair of mechanical systems including pipes valves machinery and equipment.
Carry out mechanical fitting tasks to ensure systems are installed correctly and operate efficiently.
Conduct inspections of mechanical systems and recommend improvements or necessary repairs.
Rigging:
Perform rigging tasks including the assembly disassembly and secure handling of heavy equipment materials and tools.
Assist in lifting operations ensuring all activities are performed safely and efficiently in compliance with safety protocols.
Insulation Work:
Carry out the removal and reinstallation of insulation systems on pipes tanks and vessels.
Ensure that insulation materials are correctly applied and maintained ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with offshore safety regulations and operational guidelines at all times.
Participate in regular safety drills and follow HSE procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
Qualifications :
Education:
H.S.C./Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Certifications:
IRATA Level 1/2 Rope Access Certification (mandatory).
Rigger Certification (highly preferred).
OPITOapproved TBOSIET (Tropical Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training).
H2S Awareness Certification (mandatory).
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with a strong focus on mechanical tasks rigging and insulation work.
At least 4 years of experience in offshore environments.
Gulf region experience and relevant field experience are highly preferred.
