Gloinnt is offering an exciting opportunity for freshers to join our team in the Aerospace Technical Publications department. As a trainee in this role you will be trained in the creation development and maintenance of technical documentation for aerospace systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role is designed for individuals looking to build a career in aerospace technical writing and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creation of Technical Documents: Assist in the development and creation of user manuals maintenance manuals flight manuals and other technical documents related to aerospace systems and components.
- Documentation Review: Support the review and revision of existing documentation to ensure accuracy compliance with technical specifications and adherence to industry standards.
- Collaborating with Engineers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): Work closely with engineers and technical teams to gather necessary technical data for the creation of manuals and documentation.
- Editing and Proofreading: Edit and proofread technical documents to ensure clarity consistency and precision.
- Document Management: Assist in the organization and maintenance of the document repository ensuring easy access and version control for all stakeholders.
- Compliance with Aerospace Standards: Learn and apply relevant aerospace regulatory standards such as MILSTD498 AS9100 and others to ensure that documentation meets industry and customer requirements.
- Training & Development: Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical writing skills and understanding of aerospace engineering concepts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field (freshers welcome).
- Strong Written Communication Skills: Excellent command over written English with a keen eye for detail.
- Technical Aptitude: A basic understanding of aerospace systems and engineering concepts is beneficial but not required. Training will be provided.
- Adaptability: Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies tools and documentation standards.
- Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with technical writing tools (e.g. Adobe FrameMaker XML) is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to produce clear accurate and detailed documentation.
