About The Company
Our client is dedicated to crafting highquality condiments and sauces using the freshest ingredients. Established in Australia in 1994 based on the successful Sinsin company operating in Singapore since 1954 they pride themselves on their commitment to quality and freshness. Their Yatala factory employs 30 staff and operates with a focus on sourcing ingredients locally from Queensland ensuring that their products are free from MSG preservatives artificial colorings and flavorings. With stateoftheart technical capabilities and a FSSC 22000 certified quality control system they maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
About The Opportunity
- Design and develop new processes and equipment to enhance plant operations reduce costs and improve product quality
- Develop implement and maintain HACCP plans to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance
- Design install and maintain metal detection systems to ensure product safety and compliance
- Analyse and optimise existing processes to improve efficiency reduce waste and enhance product quality
- Troubleshoot processrelated issues and implement corrective actions
- Manage capital projects from concept to completion including budgeting scheduling and resource allocation
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teamsoperations maintenance quality and sanitationto ensure effective implementation of process improvements
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements industry standards and company policies
- Develop and maintain process documentation including process flow diagrams piping and instrumentation diagrams and standard operating
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- 3 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry preferably in a process engineering capacity
- Bachelors degree in Food Science Food Engineering Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Hands on experience with fault finding and maintenance works
- Strong knowledge of HACCP principles food safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Experience working with metal detection systems and foreign material control processes
You will also have:
- Demonstrated analytical and problemsolving skills with a focus on process optimisation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work crossfunctionally
- Proven ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment effectively managing and prioritising multiple projects
