Job Summary: KBR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join an AFLCMC Program Office. The ideal candidate will serve as a SME in acquisition management and logistics providing critical support to the development and implementation of advanced aircraft systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
Application of logistics knowledge to perform various tasks related to planning development implementation and management of a comprehensive affordable and effective system support strategy
Provide expertise in conducting technical evaluations of the business rules inherent in AF logistics information systems and in the development of functional requirements
Review program documentation (e.g. concept requirements design manuals reports deficiency/change reports and program schedules) to ensure that established security requirements are adequately addressed and sustained
Utilize knowledge of USAF supply chain processes governing policies manuals and instructions for implementation for program milestones
Ability to work independently as well as with other team members
Perform document review and editing as requested
Participate in integrated logistics support management team meetings PMRs and other related meetings
Required Qualifications:
BS / BA and 10 years of directly related experience.
Knowledge of creating and maintaining policy to support logistics readiness and SCM for units across the Air Force highly desired.
Indepth knowledge of DoD acquisition policies procedures and regulations
Proven track record of managing complex acquisition programs
Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications:
1015 years of SCM experience desired
Experience with airrefueling systems or related aerospace programs
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and other program management tools
Experience in writing and responding to Federal and DoD Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
Program Management Level II or III DAWIA certification
Knowledge of DoD 5000.02 and AFLCMC Policies Processes and Procedures
