We are looking for a highly qualified and careerminded Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work as a LPN Charge Nurse in our 57 bed skilled nursing center.
This is a fulltime opportunity
12hour Day shifts
Our LPNs provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the daytoday nursing activities performed by CNAs.
In this role you will lead a team of CNAs assigned to your area and assist them with daily tasks as needed. You will also be responsible for assisting with Admissions Discharges IV Antibiotics Peg Tubes Disease Process Management assessments patient transfers and more.
Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Responsible for screening walkin patients telephone screening (with protocols) medication/injection education assist with procedures cleaning wounds dressing changes suctioning catheter insertion tracheostomy care biopsies diabetic nail care and other duties as assigned by respective clinic . Able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously. Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times. Delegates tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel UAP in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice. May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties as needed.
