Job Description

Classification Title:

Student Assistant Lab Research Assistant

Job Description:A position for a student thesis project (OPS) is available immediately in the Yang Lab in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. We are committed to study the mechanotransduction and biological mechanism during tooth movement using various models. Research experience with cell culture and basic biological experiments is required. Skilled in 3D cell culture microfluidic cell culture or immunofluorescent staining RNAseq proteomics will be acquired.Expected Salary:

$15.00/hr

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.Research experience with cell culture and basic biological experiments is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Skilled in:

  • 3D cell culture
  • microfluidic cell culture
  • immunofluorescent staining
  • RNAseq
