At Aurecon we are looking for a passionate and innovative Senior Engineer Renewables to join the Energy Power Generation Team in Sydney. This role is your chance to work on highimpact cuttingedge projects across NSW and beyond designing crucial infrastructure for some of our most exciting clients.
As part of our Power Generation practice group youll collaborate with diverse forwardthinking teams taking on fastpaced and challenging projects that push the boundaries of whats possible.
Key Responsibilities to Bring Ideas to Life
In this role you will be part of our Energy business joining a dynamic team of specialists working on a wide range of energy infrastructure projects. These include the development of largescale renewable power generation and battery storage projects such as solar and wind as well as optimising the operation of transmission and distribution systems across various industries.
We understand that the work we do is vital to supporting global economic development and it is the technical expertise and indepth knowledge of our people that sets us apart. In this role you will play a key part in bringing ideas to life by advising our clients on power generation energy storage and power network operations.
You will collaborate with one of the largest Australian communities of power systems analysis and planning specialists. This role will give you the opportunity to work across the business and with clients to combine diverse skill sets and drive innovation in addressing complex problems.
As a part of this team you will be responsive to client needs providing timely and highquality advice. You will also lead the charge in deploying innovative projects within the energy storage and inverterbased generation markets contributing to an increasingly challenging technical environment. Your work will involve planning and executing largescale solar wind and battery energy storage system projects ensuring they meet technical and regulatory standards while enhancing grid stability and reliability.
What Were Looking For
You are a driven professional with strong project management skills and experience in the renewable energy sector. At Aurecon we value diverse backgrounds and seek individuals who excel at winning work managing bids and delivering successful projects.
In this role you will utilize your renewable energy expertise to manage projects from concept to completion ensuring they meet technical requirements timelines and budgets. You will play a key role in building and maintaining client relationships offering strategic advice and managing expectations. Your experience in preparing bids and securing new projects will be crucial in expanding our business and fostering longterm partnerships.
A solid understanding of the technical aspects of renewable energy infrastructuresuch as wind solar and battery storageis essential. Experience in overseeing technical teams ensuring projects meet industry standards and delivering innovative solutions is highly valued. Strong communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills are critical to managing complex projects and client relationships effectively.
While not essential experience as an owners engineer would be a valuable asset as it demonstrates your ability to provide highlevel technical oversight and ensure the successful of largescale renewable energy projects.
