Background
The College Engagement Administrator is a member of the College of Social Sciences Professional Services Team and provides professional and proactive administrative support to complying with legal and university regulation (with a focus on UKVI).
The specific duties undertaken by the College Engagement Administrator will be informed by the College Apprenticeships and Engagement Manager and the College Apprenticeships and Engagement Officer. The post holder will be responsible for working with School Education Support teams to ensure that electronic records are audit ready and compliant as well as following up on missing evidence and any other duties to meet our legal and internal obligations.
Occasional weekend work may be required (for which advanced notice will be given).
The post holder will be expected to be flexible in supporting other areas (e.g. other areas within the College Education Team Schools other Colleges) to assist the College Apprenticeships and Engagement Manager and the College Apprenticeships and Engagement Officer in contributing to the Universitys Strategic Priorities.
Role Summary
To provide proactive administrative support in the relevant department working as part of a team or on own initiative.You will have the ability to manage your work without needing to refer to others for most of your time order to flexibly use resource you may be given the opportunity to work in different areas of the department or wider University.
Administrators may work in any area of the University; with large groupings in HR Finance and School/College Hubs. You will be able to develop a wide range of skills both technical and administrative and may also have the opportunity to lead on specific tasks within a team.

This role will be liaising with internal colleagues and stakeholders and possibly external stakeholders as well with an expectation on maintaining good working relationships with all.
