JOB TITLE: HVAC Lead Engineer

Position Description
The HVAC Lead Engineershall have 15 years of handson experience in Concept / Detailed design and engineering functions of HVAC systems preferable in the Oil & Gas and Hydrocarbon domain. He or she should be capable of leading a team of design engineers and modellersto complete the deliverables within Schedule and budget.
The Candidate shall be a selfstarter and manage communication with all stakeholders including Client Contractor vendor etc. independently. He should be able to take independent decisions to support the project requirement and be accountable.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Prepare / Review heat load calculations ventilation calculations pressure drop calculations for ducting and piping duct sizing pipe sizing etc.
- Preparation of Air Flow Diagrams P & IDs Equipment and duct layout piping layout etc. Exposure to Offshore projects like Fixed Platforms FPSOs is an added advantage.
- Selection of equipment like Chillers Packaged and Split Systems Air Handlers Pumps Fans Cooling towers etc.
- Independently developdesign basis Technical Specification Data sheets Material Requisitions and Bill of Quantities for Bulks like Ducting Dampers Registers and other accessories.
- Independently to prepare technical bid Evaluation for HVAC System including equipment and accessories.
- Handson in review of Post OrderContractor /Supplier documents
- Knowledge in Design Software like Carrier HAP Trane Trace
- Provide inputs and guidance for HVAC modellers in modelling tasks. Working knowledge of modelling softwares like E3D S3D and Navisworks is desirable
- Working knowledge of sustainable engineering practices CAPEX and OPEX.
- Participation in the progress and coordination meetings of the project.
- Necessary coordination with vendors and other department for related interfaces as applicable
- Interface directly with clients and other stakeholders.
- Preparing technical proposals and reports.
