Job Description
Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking a friendly and welcoming Server Full Time Trick Riderto join our team. Omni Frisco PGA Resort will provide north Texas with 127000 square feet of event space 13 new food and beverage outlets an extravagant spa and a full entertainment district. Featuring two championship 18hole golf courses along with a third short course we will provide incredible options for our guests and local community for dining events and entertainment.
Trick Rider is a new age supper club serving luxury curated food and tricked up cocktails wines and distilled spirits. It is experiential with swagger. A Frisco eatery like no other featuring top shelf fin shellfish and a stable of premium cut meats. Sit ringside at the chefs table or at the horseshoe bar. A performance playing homage to traditions with a modern twist.
The server will wait on tables promptly courteously and to serve our guests with a genuine care.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of the dining room.
- Must have full familiarity with menus and beverage offerings.
- Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.
- Take orders and answer questions/offer suggestions on both food and beverage menu selections and daily specials.
- Communicate with culinary team regarding meal requirements allergies dietary needs and special requests.
- Record transaction in MICROS system at time of order and adhere to cash handling standards.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage.
- Present accurate check to guest and process payment.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
- Process station setup and breakdown and complete all other side work duties as assigned.
- Ensure tables are set up properly including polishing and cleaning glasses.
- Service to guests according to Omni Moments of Service Standards.
- Be pleasant smile and greet all guests using surnames when obtained.
- Clean clear and reset service areas.
- Protect the hotel from liability with regard to over serving guests.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1year serving experience high volume sports/live entertainment bar experience preferred.
- Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC or obtain upon hire.
- Developed knowledge of wine spirits and beer with experienceselling and presenting specialty mixed cocktails.
- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests management and coworkers.
- Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into MICROS.
- Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to work cohesively with coworkers both within and outside of your department.
- Ability to prioritize organize and follow up on guest requests and needs in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent customer service service recovery and problemsolving skills.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Position requires frequent bending reaching overhead twisting and consistent use of hands and arms.
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift in indoor/outdoor environments.
