The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join the team in Hazelwood MO.
Following a successful competition this will be a new franchise level development program where strong contract leadership will be a necessity. The Contracts Manager will partner with the Program Manager and Finance Manager for tactical and strategic decision making.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees engaged in Contract Management Specialist activities
Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
Manages develops and motivates employees
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
5 years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations Cost Management Accounting Estimating Financial Planning Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
5 years of experience drafting negotiating and administering contracts in programs with multiple customers and multiple contract types such as: general terms agreements assignment agreements nondisclosure agreements purchase and sale agreements
5 years of experience leading or managing proposal development and negotiating commercial and/or government contracts
Experience in a leadership role (i.e. manager project manager team lead etc.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10 years of experience in contracts or contractsadjacent role
Experience leading through change
Previous management experience or experience leading large scale activities with multiple stakeholders
