Job Description
Central Virginia Community College is located in burg Virginia in view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. CVCC is a comprehensive twoyear institution of higher education with an enrollment of approximately 5000 students in occupational/technical programs and universityparallel/college transfer programs. Central Virginia Community College is seeking qualified individuals to serve as adjunct faculty in the Arts and Sciences Division teaching general education coursesMath English Social and Natural Sciences as well as Humanities and Fine Arts. Adjunct faculty members are responsible for effectively planning and teaching courses in a classroom and online environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences. Employees must be able to work strategically with diverse colleagues students and community members with a commitment to diversity as a learning outcome to be culturally respectful professionally competent and civically responsible.
