At The Home Depot our Internal Communications team works closely with senior leadership to ensure that associates in our stores supply chain and support centers are informed and engaged.
The Manager of Internal Communications will support one of our major business units and its leadership team. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with a high level of motivation and experience working with dynamic teams and developing and executing communication strategies campaigns and messages across various channels. The individual should have at least 57 years of experience in communications public relations or similar fields.
Major Tasks Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
As a partner to the business this individual proactively identifies communications needs and support developing communications strategies plans messaging and storytelling. They will work closely with partners across the business to ensure alignment of communication strategy development planning and . The individual will also monitor the effectiveness of communications and messages to identify issues and recommend solutions.
Strategic Business Partnership & Relationship Management: 20
This individual will gain an indepth knowledge of the business they support developing clear and concise messages that can effectively convey the business objectives to a range of internal audiences. The position works closely with the businesss senior leadership to create internal communication strategies programs and campaigns.
Change Management & High Impact Communications: 15
As needs arise this role is responsible for supporting highimpact communications including major announcements and crisis response. This individual will also be responsible for leading developing and executing support strategies for change management initiatives including developing communications monitoring ongoing feedback and refining support.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Education Required
The knowledge skills and abilities typically acquired through completing a bachelors degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Background in communications public relations or like fields.
Experience working with Quorum Viva Engage Teams or other communication tools.
Bachelors degree in communications English or related concentrations.
Proficiency in AP style of writing.

Physical Job Requirements
