About Role
We areseeking a skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team. In thisrole you will be responsible for leading a team of backend and frontend developers andensuring the successful delivery of software solutions. You will be responsiblefor developing highquality efficient and scalable code that meets businessrequirements and design specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of backend and Frontend developers providing technical guidance and mentoring
- Develop highquality efficient and scalable code that meets business requirements and design specifications
- Collaborate with frontend developers project managers and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of frontend and backend systems
- Design and implement data storage solutions including databases and caching mechanisms
- Ensure the reliability scalability and security of backend systems
- Manage deployments and infrastructure working closely with DevOps teams to ensure the availability and performance of backend systems
- Keep uptodate with emerging trends and technologies in backend development and integrate new technologies where appropriate
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field Proven experience as a Full stack developer with 8 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge ofJava programming language
- Experience with relational and nonrelational databases such asMySQL MongoDB or Cassandra
- Experience with web application frameworks such asSpring Flask or Django
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such asAWSor Azure
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices such as Docker Kubernetes or Ansible
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
