Job Description
Job Title:SeniorSDET(Software Development Engineer in Test) / LeadSDET
We are looking for a highly skilledSeniorSDETwith strong expertise in Javabased automation testing API testing using RestAssured and cloud testing. The ideal candidate will have experience leading testing teams designing automation frameworks and ensuring the delivery of highquality software.
Key Responsibilities:
Automation Testing:
- Develop enhance and maintain automation frameworks using Java.
- Execute automated test scripts for functional regression and performance testing.

API Testing:
- Test APIs using tools likeRestAssuredand ensure endtoend functionality of microservices.
- Create and maintain API automation suites.

Microservices and Kafka Testing:
- Validate microservicesbased applications and workflows.
- Conduct Kafka testing for messagedriven systems.

Cloud Testing:
- Perform testing on cloud platforms like AWS (or similar).
- Validate scalability reliability and performance of cloudhosted applications.

Manual Testing:
- Execute manual test cases when necessary particularly for exploratory testing.
- Write clear concise and comprehensive test plans and cases.

Leadership:
- Mentor and lead a team of QA engineers andSDETs.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define test strategies and ensure adherence to quality processes.

CI/CD and Agile Practices:
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure timely testing deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills inJavafor automation.
- Handson experience withRestAssuredfor API testing.
- Proficient in testingmicroservicesand message brokers likeKafka.
- Experience with cloud platforms preferablyAWS.
- Excellent manual testing abilities with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in aLeadSDETor similar role.
- Familiarity with tools like Selenium Postman JIRA TestNG or similar.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
NicetoHave:
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
- Certification in AWS or cloudrelated domains.
