Job Description
JOB Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Lead FS1 with over 6 years ofexpertise in Java Automation Testing. The ideal candidate will have a strongbackground in SDET API Automation and framework design with the ability tolead a small team and work independently. This role requires excellent communicationskills handson experience in Agile methodologies and a willingness to workonsite at Hyderabad Pune or Vizag.
Key Responsibilities
- Automation Testing & Development:
- Lead and implement test automation strategies using Java and related technologies.
- Leverage BDD REST Assured and API Automation techniques for efficient testing.
- Design and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks.
- Team Leadership:
- Mentor and lead a small team of automation engineers.
- Drive collaboration between onsite and offshore teams.
- Test Planning & :
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans test cases/scripts and traceability matrices.
- Ensure adherence to QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Agile Methodologies:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align with Agile development practices.
- Define and drive automation strategies in Agile sprints.
- Tools & Process Utilization:
- Utilize tools like ALM JIRA and MABL (knowledge of MABL is a plus).
- Monitor and report defects to ensure highquality deliverables.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports including test coverage defect tracking and status updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong experience in Java including OOP concepts Collections Framework and Exception Handling.
- Handson experience with API Automation using Rest Assured.
- Proficiency in BDD frameworks and automation tools.
- Testing Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies and test design techniques.
- Experience in writing Test Plans Test Cases and maintaining a Traceability Matrix.
- Project Delivery:
- Proven track record in onsiteoffshore delivery models.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and tools like ALM and JIRA.
- Communication & Teamwork:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
General Conditions
- Work Location: Hyderabad Pune or Vizag (onsite).
- Work Schedule: 5 days a week (officebased).
- Passport Requirement: Candidate must hold a valid passport.
PreferredQualifications:
- Knowledge of MABL or similar tools is an added advantage.
