About the Role:
Provide highquality social work services to patients families and carers.
Conduct clinical assessments offer advocacy referrals counselling and crisis intervention ensuring patientcentred care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies ensuring efficient discharge planning and patient flow.
Contribute highlevel clinical expertise and lead education initiatives for staff and patients.
Lead initiate and participate in research and quality improvement projects fostering continuous professional development.
Supervise staff and students and support excellence in clinical practice through evidencebased training.
Participate in the oncall social work crisis roster ensuring responsive and timely care in emergencies.
About You:

Qualifications and Experience: Degree in Social Work AASW membership and extensive clinical experience in a hospital or healthrelated field.
Specialised Expertise: Skilled in drug and alcohol mental health domestic violence child protection trauma homelessness and crisis intervention.
Crisis and Complex Care Competencies: Expertise in crisis intervention solutionfocused approaches motivational interviewing and complex assessment in an acute health setting.
Leadership and Teamwork: Ability to contribute to research education and quality improvement and provide clinical supervision with strong communication and negotiation skills.
