About this role

The team areseeking a Vice President levelInvestorto focus on US Real Estate Securities. The role will be based in New York reporting to the Head of Real Estate Securities. All prospective candidates must be able to work constructively in a team environment and the role will require travel.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be expected to work closely with portfolio managers and analysts across the platform drive alpha generation and investment process excellence.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conductingbottomupresearch and analysis to identify investment opportunities across the real estate securities universe
  • Developing and managing financial models across a defined coverage list
  • Implement and enhance the teams fundamental and bottomup oriented investment process
  • Monitoring and adjusting portfolio positions
  • Working closely with colleagues across the firm to leverage the power of BlackRock
  • Presenting our strategies and capabilities to existing and prospective clients

Qualifications

  • Suitable professional experience at least 5 years with a history of excellence
  • Graduate of a rigorous Bachelors program or equivalent; a relevant Masters degree and/or the CFA designation would be viewed favorably
  • Ability to demonstrate strong research quantitative and analytical skills
  • Passion for real estate and financial markets
  • Strong communication presentation and leadership skills
  • Achievement and teamoriented
  • Creative and critical independent thinker


For New York NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$155000.00 USD$210000.00 . Additionally employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including heath care leave benefits and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a payforperformance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role location and firm department and individual performance.
