On Time Talent Solutions is currently seeking a Director of Therapy Services! In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that patient rehabilitative care is held to its highest standard for superior patient outcomes.
Director of Therapy Home Health Responsibilities:
- Reviews available patient information related to the case including disciplines required to determine home care needs. Assigns appropriate therapists to case
- Assists therapists in establishing immediate and longterm rehabilitation goals in setting priorities and in developing plan of care
- Assists therapists in overseeing assignment and supervision of therapy assistants
- Reviews and evaluates each case by reviewing the services provided by the therapists including case conferences and documentation review discusses and verifies impressions instructs and guides therapists to promote more effective performance and delivery of quality home care services
- Assists therapists in establishing immediate and longterm rehabilitation goals in setting priorities and in developing plan of care
- Assists in the screening and interviewing process of new organization personnel and makes recommendations for employment of individuals
- Assists in the orientation of new therapy personnel
Director of Therapy Home Health Requirements:
- Current state license as a Physical Therapist Occupational Therapist or Speech/Language Pathologist
- Graduate of an accredited therapy program
- Preference a Masters degree in a rehabilitation related field.
- Two years management or supervisory experience in a rehabilitation therapy department or program preferably home care
- Demonstrates excellent observation verbal and written communication skills
