Job Description

Bachelors degree with 35 years experience in a healthcare setting required clinical background (RN PA PharmD) or masters preferred.

Strong organizational and project management experience required preferably in a healthcare setting.

Experience in quality improvement activities preferred.

Strong quantitative analytical and technical skills relating to data management analysis and presentation (experience analyzing and manipulating data sets and creating effective presentations).

Strong PC / Microsoft application skills including Word Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Ability to deliver presentations to a wide variety of audiences.

Ability to effectively plan and facilitate meetings and workgroups.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail ability to work independently manage multiple tasks and projects meet deadlines and manage to schedule.

High degree of initiative along with ability to act as a team player.

Ability to develop effective relationships with a broad array of people (different levels of management and clinical experts).

Position located in Needham moving to Somerville with occasional local travel

Under the direction of the Program Director the Ambulatory Quality Program Manager will be responsible for managing Partnerswide ambulatory quality performance measurement activities such as quality reporting associated with Partners Internal Performance Framework (IPF) and external contracts with health care insurers.

The Program Manager provides leadership and staff support for internal and external quality measurement and reporting. He/she will leverage their clinical and operational expertise to ensure successful settlement on contracts; including management of chart review/chart abstraction teams.

1.Develop and manage all aspects of projects including scope requirements project plans communication and issue resolution.

2.Collaborate with clinical leaders and key stakeholders to study data and processes support population health management programs and performance improvement initiatives and implement evidencebased interventions.

3.Develop methodologies for evaluating and tracking the success of interventions.

4.Complete quantitative and qualitative analyses to support the objectives of assigned projects.

5.Develop project related deliverables with minimal supervision including project plans PowerPoint presentations status reports meeting minutes issue/risk logs and meeting facilitation documents.

6.Present updates findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders/leaders as needed for assigned projects.

7.Conduct bestpractice research and adhoc analysis for quality improvement initiatives.

8.Monitor implementation and progress of various projects including working closely with the Partners entities and Partners IT.

9.Establish contacts and strong working relationships with clinical and administrative leaders across Partners entities.

10.Work with groups of clinical experts to develop and vet program elements including the elements of program development materials metrics and data.

11.Design and prepare reports.

12.Maintain a working knowledge of current evidencebased guidelines and national trends and best practices in quality measurement. Serve as internal expert on HEDIS and Partnersdevelopment quality metrics.

13.Manage the coordination of workgroups committee meetings and other best practice sharing events.
14.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
