Farmington Station isseeking a patient innovative programmer who is creative friendly compassionate and organized to assist the Program Director in creating scheduling and implementing programs for our residents.

PAY & BENEFITS:

Rates start at $17 per hour

WHAT OUR PROGRAMMING ASSISTANTS DO:
  • Form meaningful relationships with residents and families;
  • Help implement and coordinate the balanced daily programming schedule for 7 days per week;
  • Support with coordination of entertainment including guest lecturers musicians and fitness instructors;
  • Participatein scheduled outings ensuring safety of residents on transportation and offsite
  • Support with developing monthly newsletter taking photos and updating social media
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience: Associates or Bachelors degree in Therapeutic Recreation Education Social Work or related field preferred. Must have 1 years experience working with elderly and/or Alzheimers populations.
  • Physical requirements: Standing sitting bending and transferring residents (with and without assistance)
  • Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers
  • Punctuality & reliability Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
