Job Overview
This is a fulltime role for fresher candidates with less than 1 year of experience in medical billing. The job is based in Hyderabad Telangana India. The Medical Billing Associate will be responsible for handling and processing medical billing for healthcare practitioners and clinics. Qualifications and Skills
- Freshers or fresh graduates with a strong interest in medical billing
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and coding
- Familiarity with medical billing software and tools is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
- High level of integrity and adherence to confidentiality
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy
Roles and Responsibilities
- Process medical billing for healthcare practitioners and clinics
- Verify accuracy and completeness of all billing documents
- Review and analyze medical records to ensure proper coding and billing
- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing issues
- Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely payment
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies
- Stay updated on industry regulations and billing guidelines
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to healthcare providers and patients
