Requirements:
- Bachelor of Education.
- A child centered approach to instruction and teacher/student relationships.
- Effective organizational skills and classroom management.
- Strong knowledge of early learning/play based programming.
- The ability to design and implement student centered programming.
- The ability to work as a team in a collaborative fashion.
- The ability to establish productive relationships with parents.
- A willingness to participate in the school community beyond the classroom.
- A commitment to continuous professional growth.
- A staff member who is dedicated to delivering 21st Century Learners the skills and competencies they will need to be successful in the future.
- Knowledge of Inspiring Education Direction and 21st Century competencies.
- Experience incorporating Alberta Educations competencies into curriculum.
- Experience with Differentiated Instruction.
- Experience in an Early learning setting.
- Knowledge of Positive Behavior Intervention Supports and Leader in Me.
- Interest in being involved in extracurricular activities based on personal strengths and interests.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal record/vulnerable sector check which will be reviewed to ensure suitability of the candidate for the position.
All candidates must hold or be able to obtain an Alberta Teaching Certificate have knowledge of curriculum and teaching experience at those levels/subject areas and demonstrated interpersonal and classroom management skills.
