Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support & Maintenance
Provideonsite troubleshootingand support fornetwork server and personal computer platforms.
Performhousekeeping proactive maintenance and system administration.
Implementtechnical platform changesandsmall worksprojects.
Replacefailed equipmentand managedevice configurations.
Maintain and administernetwork infrastructure VLANs ACLs firewalls telephony systems wireless controllers and backup solutions.
ITIL Service Management
Manage service requests and escalate as needed.
Classify tickets againstSLA agreementsand participate inincident reviews.
Ensurechange managementis applied correctly.
Project Support & Leadership
Assist in thescoping planning and implementationof small projects.
Participate inmentoring junior engineersto enhance team capabilities.
Maintain and improveprocess documentationand contribute toresource budgeting.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Strong2nd line support experience
ITIL V3/V4 Foundation certification.
Cisco Networking experience including VLANs ACLs and firewall administration CCNA certification required.
Expertise inWindows Server Active Directory Office 365 and Azure administration.
Proficiency withvirtualisation technologies (VMware HyperV).
Experience inVoIP PBX systems and telephony administration.
Strong knowledge ofbackup solutions antivirus/EDR deployment and troubleshooting.
Familiarity withticketing and RMM tools (e.g. ConnectWise Auvik Automate).
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
VMWare VCP certification.
Microsoft 365/Azure certifications.
Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or related field.
Personal Attributes:
Strong problemsolving skillsand the ability to work autonomously.
Exceptional attention to detail and ticket management.
Customerfocused mindsetwith excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability toprioritise tasks effectivelyin a fastpaced dynamic environment.
Willingness totravel and participate in an oncall rota.
