About the role: Join the Metals Core Technology (MCT) Quality team in Maple Grove MN to improve patients lives and make a meaningful impact to those around you. In this dynamic production environment you will find the technical autonomy you desire to drive innovation and transform customer experiences globally. You will collaborate with manufacturing engineers for line support activities and product development teams to ensure development of robust new products. You will be responsible for overseeing several manufacturing processes on the production line and working crossfunctionally with manufacturing engineering and production teams to achieve business unit objectives and providing quality leadership to the team.

At Boston Scientific we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model requiring employees to be in our local office five days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Apply sound systematic problemsolving methodologies in identifying prioritizing communicating and resolving quality issues.
  • Collaborate with technicians and manufacturing engineers in dispositioning nonconforming material assisting in identification of manufacturing process defects identification of primary root causes and understanding corrective and preventative actions. May be responsible for working with process owners to bound product and document release criteria.
  • Perform process validation and verification activities and generate/review related documentation
  • Identifies possible sources of manufacturing defects and devises methods to reduce process variation to reduce/eliminate the cause of defects.
  • Collects and analyzes process defect data for product/process improvement efforts (e.g. s nonconforming product customer complaints)
  • Evaluates the adequacy and compliance of systems operations and practices against regulations and company documentation.
  • Acts as an effective leader or team member in supporting quality disciplines decisions and practices.
  • Participates in team decision making and displays team problem solving/communication skills.
  • Proactively investigates identifies and implements bestinclass Quality Engineering practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal written communication skills both technical and conversational
  • Decision making and negotiation skills individually and within groups
  • Experience with new product development
  • Experience in managing multiple projects across multiple organizational disciplines
  • Ability to influence without authority

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) see www.bscbenefitsconnect.comwill vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training pertinent education including licensure and certifications among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for nonexempt (hourly) nonsales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g. any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt nonsales roles may also include variable compensation i.e. annual bonus target and longterm incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
