Job Description
Hire Resolves client in the food and beverage industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Buyer to join their team in the Western Cape.
Responsibilities
- Source and purchase food and beverage products for clients in the industry
- Negotiate prices terms and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay updated on industry trends
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues that arise
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure ontime and accurate delivery of products
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to optimize purchasing decisions
- Analyze supplier performance and make recommendations for improvements
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Proven experience as a Buyer in the Food and Beverage Industry
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage products and market trends
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools
- Detailoriented and highly organized
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Must be situated in the Western Cape
