Job Description
Snowflake Engineer (m/f/d)
For our client a wellknown pharmaceutical company in Basel we are looking for a Snowflake Engineer (m/f/d).
Background
In this role you will design and implement scalable data architectures optimize queries and ensure the performance and security of our Snowflake data platform. Working within a dynamic international team you will contribute to automating data workflows and streamlining data cleaning processes enabling more efficient and effective clinical research.

- Remote/Home Office: 12 days remote per week
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and efficient data storage and data processing solutions within Snowflake
- Write optimize and troubleshoot business owned and developed tables views functions and SQL queries within the Snowflake environment
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to meet datadriven business objectives
- Potentially integrate Snowflake with ServiceNow
Must Haves
- Minimum 12 years experience working with Snowflakes cloud data platform
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (and/or Java C or Scala.
- Experience with SQL for querying and managing databases
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture
- Familiarity with concepts like ETL/ELT processes
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS
- Experience using cloudnative tools and services
- Fluent in written and spoken English
