The impact you will have:
In your role as aSr.Project Manageryou play an impactful role in achieving Softchoices vision responsible for delivering success and owning the end results of every project. Acting as the face of Softchoice and as an extension of the entire brand focused deeply on understanding our customers needs assembling the best resources to get the job done and delivering exceptional results from kickoff to completion.
What youll do:
- Manage a portfolio of customers projects delivered by our team of technical expertise. These projects may include various technologies from Microsoft AWS Google Cisco and other providers of cloud and datacenter solutions.
- Work alongside engineers and architects to align to what the customer really needs.
- Create project roadmap and WBS ensuring full clarity of the project plans and risks mitigation and monitor project plans .
- Deliver on the customers deeper purpose and constantly improve our approach.
- Lead colleagues and customers through challenges and plot the path to success.
- Occasionally work evenings and weekends to meet project deadlines.
What youll bring to the table:
- 7 years of related work experience leading enterprise projects and professional services/consultancy.
- PMP Certification is a must. ITIL and other Agile certifications are nice to have.
- Previous experience with IT infrastructure modernization projects (MS Azure / AWS / Google Cloud migration projects MS O365 migrations projects or Cisco Calling / UC / WebEx).
- Experience with other infrastructure projects (VMWare Data Centers Migration Cisco Networking) is nice to have.
- Proficiency with MS Project (other project management tools are nice to have).
- Exceptionalinterpersonal skills include mentoring coaching collaborating and team building.
- Strong analytical planning and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
- Ability to grasp highlevel technical concepts quickly.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Creative approach to problemsolving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the big picture view.
- Strong time management skills.
