Job Description
Dr. Rasi is looking for a part time Surgical Assistant to join his team! Our Surgical Assistants assist the doctors in scheduling educating preparation and follow up for patients receiving treatment in the practice. The Surgical Assistant helps to provide an excellent experience for the patient and helps to drive efficiency and productivity throughout the practice. The Surgical Assistant also helps to ensure a safe and sterile environment in which to perform treatment.
Schedule: Part Time
RDA/OS experience required
High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or vocational certification preferred
WinOms software experience a plus
Prefer CPR/BLS ACLS and XRay
Have an excellent understanding of oral surgery procedures and exceptional handeye coordination.
Sound knowledge of how to use surgical equipment instruments and materials.
A good understanding of surgical techniques chairside responsibilities and health and safety protocols.
An excellent understanding of dental records charts and documentation
Highly organized and attentive to patients needs
Ability to handle stress in a professional and mature method
Ability to complete training in three months
Ability to interact with various types of personality internally and externally
Must practice regular and predictable attendance.
