We are seeking anexperiencedAzure Data Solutions Developerto join a dynamicteam delivering largescale digital and data solutions. This is an excitingopportunity to work on a transformative cloudhosted application for a major Version1 customer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementingdata ingestion and transformation pipelines for enterpriselevel organizationswith deep technical expertise across various Microsoft Azure services.
Key Responsibilities:
Design anddeliver scalable data solutions using Azure Data services.
Develop andimplement data ingestion and transformation pipelines for largescaleenvironments.
Build datasolutions using a wide range of tools and Azure services.
Collaborateon proofofconcept development and production implementation.
Meet tightproject deadlines while delivering highquality solutions.
Translatebusiness requirements into technical solutions with a focus on data quality andperformance.
Qualifications:
Essential:
68 years ofhandson experience designing and delivering data solutions using:
AzureData Factory
Azure SQLDatabase
AzureSynapse Analytics
AzureData Lake
Expertise inwriting and optimizing SQL stored procedures and views. Strong ability toanalyze query performance use partitioning and apply clustering techniques.
Handsonexperience withPower BIor other BI platforms such asTableauorQlikSense.
Provenexperience building data solutions usingETL/ELT toolslike:
SQLServer Integration Services (SSIS)
OracleData Integrator (ODI)
Talend
Directexperience in building data pipelines usingAzure Data Factory.
Strongknowledge of data management best practices including data profilingsourcing and cleansing routines.
Advancedexperience withRDBMS including complex stored proceduresfunctions query optimization and indexing strategies.
Provenability to coach and mentor novice developers.
Excellentproblemsolving and data analysis skills.
Strongcommunication skills both written and oral to articulate complex conceptseffectively.
Full projectlifecycle experience from concept to deployment and support.
Desirable:
Programmingexperience particularly inPython.
Experienceworking with offshore teams.
Consultancyexperience.
FamiliaritywithAgile/Scrummethodologies.
