Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech Vishay Dale Electronics Columbus NE is currently seeking applicants for an Industrial / Manufacturing Engineer.

Job Location: Vishay Dale Electronics Columbus NE is one of the worlds largest manufacturers of resistors and ebeam technology.

Position Summary: This role will play a critical role in optimizing our production processes to enhance efficiency reduce costs and analyze process data. The position will work closely with crossfunctional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently.

What you will be doing:

Process Efficiency:

  • Evaluate and analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production teams to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.
  • Enhance operator efficiency through training programs ergonomic improvements and standardized work practices.

Manufacturing Data Analysis:

  • Collect analyze and interpret manufacturing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop datadriven solutions to enhance production performance and quality.
  • Utilize statistical tools and techniques to conduct root cause analysis and solve complex manufacturing problems.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

Cost Reduction (Man Materials Machine Method):

  • Analyze and optimize the use of resources including manpower materials machinery and methods.
  • Develop cost reduction strategies to minimize waste and improve costeffectiveness.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to reduce operational costs.
  • Conduct costbenefit analyses to evaluate the financial impact of process improvements.

What you will bring along:

  • Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years experience in process improvement cost reduction and data analysis within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel Minitab SQL) and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing software (MES).
  • Project management experience is a plus.
