Job Description
Leidos High Fidelity Simulation Business Area is responsible for architecting and implementing largescale System of Systems solutions in support of world class simulation training and analysis products for the US Navy. Leidos is seeking an energetic motivated US Navy submarine fleet junior officer for this technically sophisticated and challenging combined analyst and engineering position developing a variety of naval training and simulation systems such as:
You will be part of the team that is responsible for the design development test and installation of largescale US Navy submarine training systems. You will work with government customer and fleet end user personnel internal engineers and external development team members coordinating trainer development. You will perform system engineering program tracking and integration and test activities. You will work with Navy schoolhouse personnel for trainer installation and operation. Travel may be required to partner organizations or trainer sites and will account for 10 to 15 of the job.
Required Education
- High school diploma with significant subject matter work experience obtained through a Submarine ASWrelated ST tour.
Required Experience
- You must have U.S. Citizenship and be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government granted security clearance. Employment is contingent on receiving an interim Secret security clearance.
- You must have 6 years of submarine and US Navy experience in Undersea Warfare as a submarine officer.
- You must have subject matter expertise in ARCI or AN/BQQ10 Sonar system operations.
- You will be exposed to many different attributes of professional systems development and thus will need an ability to learn and apply new skills and also share your own expertise with the team to improve our development capabilities.
Desired Experience
- Experience in program support software development/testing configuration management and/or technical writing.
- Information assurance experience.
- Experience with Agile development and Atlassian products.
- Comfortable working directly with software developers and conducting software testing.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $80600.00 $145700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
