Title: Mobile Crisis Counselor (AMFT ASW)

Job Duties: The Mobile Crisis Counselor ensures we are providing safe effective and compassionate responses to individuals during a mental crisis. The Mobile Crisis Counselor will respond to calls from dispatch involving a mental health crisis in various settings. They will be required to travel to the location of the caller and provide crisis intervention services including assessing and documenting holds. The Mobile Crisis Counselor will also be responsible for the supervision of the Peer Specialist as part of the Mobile Response Team (MRT).

About the Mobile Response Team: The Crestwood Behavioral Health Mobile Response Team (MRT) provides community-based interventions for those experiencing a mental health crisis. Our team is available to deploy into the community to provide crisis intervention de-escalation and stabilization. The MRT is staffed by Licensed/Registered Mental Health Counselors and Peer Specialists who can provide services throughout Napa County including residences parks shelters schools and hospitals. The goal of MRT is to de-escalate the crisis and safely connect individuals with mental health care and resources.

Schedule: Full-Time

Qualifications:

  • Current Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)
  • Prior experience working with residents with acquired neurological disorders and mental health problems preferred.
  • Current CPR and first aid certification.
  • Knowledge of DBT WRAP and Psychosocial Rehabilitation Principals preferred.
  • Familiarity with DMH Title 9 and other governmental regulations.
  • Valid CA Drivers License.

About the Campus: Crestwoods Crisis Stabilization Unit is a program that is based in a recovery-focused environment where children adolescents and adults in crisis are welcomed into a calm warm compassionate environment so that they may be assessed and provided mental health stabilization services medication evaluation management and linkages to a wide-range of outpatient and inpatient mental health services.

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidates skills experience licensure and program acuity.

Pay Range:

$38 - $40 USD
