Job Description
seoClarity continues to growand with the expansion of our Professional Services Team weare addinga Sr. Content Strategistto develop and manage content strategy for clients across multiple industries.
You will be responsible for every aspect of the SEO content marketing processfrom helping clients understand the opportunity with content marketing content briefs to establishing a strategy laying out a plan working with internal and external resources to execute the strategy and demonstrating success and ROI. This will also include other SEO projects outside of content marketing.
You will be working to help our clients rethink how they approach content and SEO that enables them to execute bestinclass content marketing that drives business success.
This is a hybrid role with a minimum 3 days per week in our Chicago office.

To excel in this position you must be a selfstarter be able to communicate effectively and work well in a collaborative environment. You should have excellent time management and project management skills to be able to effectively juggle multiple projects clients partners and stakeholders.

What Youll Be Doing
- Own the development of the entire lifecycle of content marketing for clients.
- Leverage seoClaritys industry leading platform to identify content opportunities for clients.
- Prepare proposals outlining the strategy and its potential.
- Facilitate meetings to educate clients and stakeholders on content strategy recommendations.
- Manage internal and external resources for content production.
- Serve as an editor in the review of written content to ensure it meets the clients tone voice and needs.
- Gather feedback and help move the process from idea to writing to deployment on client site.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams (client success marketing professional services) to support and grow our clients online marketing strategies and goals.
- Collaborate and strategize with internal and external stakeholders to plan future content and review the success of previous work.
- Partner with data science team to develop and present analyses and content performance.
- Identify opportunities for future optimization and lead associated implementation efforts.
- Advocate for and advance the content strategy practice at seoClarity.
- Provide regular insights/action items for client reports/deliverables.
Requirements
- Outstanding writing and editing skills
- 35 years in experience in content marketing (preferably with an ad agency)
- Outstanding project management skills
- Experience developing and executing a resultsoriented content strategy.
- Critical thinker that likes to learn
- Strong experience in SEO
- Bachelors Degree in English journalism marketing or similar discipline (or equivalent work experience)
