Job Description
- Reviewing patient records and making diagnoses to determine if there is a need for surgery as a preventive or corrective measure.
- Assessing and providing patient with risk factors involved with going through or not going through with surgery.
- Performance of surgical procedures to prevent or correct injury diseases deformities patient function and or quality of life following all regulatory and ethical protocols.
- Examining all instruments equipment and the operating room to ensure sterility. Directing and coordinating the activities of hospital staff including nurses assistants and specialist for proper patient care.
- Medical Doctorate degree (M.D. Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O. from an approved school of medicine
- Must have demonstrated experience in designated specialty area
- Must have a current unrestricted Medical Licensure
- Must be board certified or be eligible for board certification within designated specialty
